This Princess of Wands holds a wand that is white on top, and black on the bottom representing the extremes. Between the white and black on this wand are stripes with the 12 colors of a spectrum that represent the colors as they correspond to the astrological signs of the zodiac. This wand shows the zodiac as red for Aries at the top on down to the crimson stripe of Pisces at the bottom. It diagrams the lower half of a Lotus Wand as described in the Golden Dawn System of Magick, and it is only lacking the lotus on the top. Consequently the signs on each of these zodiological Naked Tarot court cards are also painted in the appropriate color for that sign just as they are displayed on this wand in her hand. The Golden Dawn System refines this basic color spectrum into different King, Queen, and other scales of color that become very precise. This knowledge along with the accurate mixing of opposite colors becomes a powerful means of formulating the magick of flashing tablets. Ultimately the Golden Dawn refines these colors according to a seven color spectrum attributed to the seven sacred planets of the Kabbalah that become the seven walls of a magick vault. These basic colors of the planets and vault walls are Saturn-Crimson(reddish purple,) Jupiter-Blue, Mars-Red, Sun-Yellow, Venus-Green, Mercury-Orange, and Moon-Violet(bluish purple.) Each of these seven walls of the magick vault feature 40 squares with different hues of the planet’s particular color mixed with a color attributed to the specific square along with symbols on each square made in the opposite flashing color. This vault is designed according to the legendary tomb of a magick monk of the middle ages named Christian Rosencreutz who may have founded the secret society of the Rosy Cross in Germany. These seven rainbow-colored walls focus 280 different flashing color tablets on the center of the room, which causes the reflected light to merge into a central pillar of white light in the middle of the room that is surely a sight to behold. The Princess of Wands is tattooed with symbols of fire because earth takes the form of linear symbol where it manifests on this spiritual world of Atziluth. She is the earth of fire, and thus its combustible aspect. She is brilliant, fearless, and full of energy. Like fire she consumes all she comes into contact with for her own amusement, and she is quick with love or anger. She can be irrational, vengeful, superficial, unreliable, domineering, and cruel.
